Álvaro González's opinion matters little, as he has shown the knowledge of a monkey on the matter. Using his logic, we as a nation should bring back slavery as well, as our forefathers "had them many years ago." While we're at it, why not bring back up other idiotic things we as a nation collectively have done in the past due to it being "tradition?" I sincerely hope for Álvaro's sake that he shows more reasoning and argumentation ability in the future, because as it stands, the premises behind his ultimate conclusion are ludicrous. Basically he defends bullfighting because of two reasons: "we had them many years ago" and "it's tradition." Wow. His stance will be moot in a few years anyway, as it has been shown that the overwhelming majority of younger people in our beloved land have little to no interest in the "sport."
